Meet Dr. Evelyn Le Ellis, ND, MPH, FAIHM | Integrative Medicine, Hormone & Longevity Physician
Helping You Find the Root Cause of Hormone Imbalance, Fatigue & Chronic Health Concerns
Welcome!
I'm Dr. Evelyn Le Ellis, ND, MPH, FAIHM, founder of Prolific Well Integrative Medicine in Olympia, Washington.
I help women and men uncover the root cause of hormone imbalance, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, thyroid disorders, weight gain, and chronic health concerns through functional medicine, evidence-informed care, and personalized treatment plans.
If you've ever been told,
"Your labs look normal."
"You're just getting older."
"Everything is caused by stress."
You're not alone.
Many of my patients arrive after years of searching for answers. My goal is to help you understand why your body is sending these signals, not simply manage symptoms.
My Journey into Integrative Medicine
My passion for medicine started with science.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Baylor University, completed an Honors Thesis studying anticancer compounds, and later earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington.
Wanting to understand healthcare from both a scientific and whole-person perspective, I completed my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University.
Since then I've pursued advanced training in
Functional Medicine
Bioidentical Hormone Therapy (BHRT)
Longevity Medicine
Gastrointestinal Health
Mind-Body Medicine
Integrative Oncology
Craniosacral Therapy
These experiences shaped how I practice today.
Rather than asking,
"Which medication treats this symptom?"
I ask,
"Why did this symptom develop in the first place?"
My Approach to Functional Medicine
Health isn't about one laboratory value.
It's about understanding how multiple systems interact.
When someone comes to see me, we often explore:
Hormones
Thyroid function
Gut health
Nutrition
Inflammation
Sleep
Stress
Metabolism
Lifestyle habits
Instead of simply treating symptoms, we work together to understand the bigger picture.

Hormone Health Is More Than Menopause
Many people think hormones only matter during menopause.
In reality, hormones influence nearly every organ system.
They affect
Energy
Mood
Memory
Sleep
Weight
Muscle
Bone health

Brain function

Curious About Bioidentical Hormone Therapy?
One of the most common questions I receive is:
"How long does hormone therapy take to work?"
The answer depends on the individual, but many patients begin noticing changes within days to weeks while continuing to improve over time alongside healthy nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management.

Genetics Don't Determine Your Future
Many patients ask about the MTHFR gene mutation.
While genetics can provide valuable information, they are only one piece of the puzzle.
Nutrition, environment, stress, sleep, and lifestyle all influence how genes are expressed.

Your Gut Influences More Than Digestion
